Methodology of our compliance answers

How we write, source and check the Swiss compliance answers published on Numezis.

Method in force as of 10.10.2026.

Responsible editor

Romain Magnin is the responsible editor of Numezis compliance answers. He answers for the method described on this page and for corrections. Every answer shows its editor, its official sources and the date those sources were verified.

Official sources

Every answer rests on cited and linked official sources: federal law published on Fedlex, cantonal law published by the cantons and publications of the authorities (FTA, FSIO, SECO, cantonal administrations). Only the German, French and Italian versions of federal texts are authentic; an English page is an informative translation.

Figure checks

A rate, amount, deadline or threshold is published only if it appears in the excerpt of the cited source. An automatic check blocks publication of an answer with a figure missing from the source, a paragraph without a citation or an internal drafting formula.

Verification date

Every page shows the date its sources were verified. An answer can only be indexed if that verification is less than 90 days old for rates, thresholds and deadlines, 180 days for tax and 365 days for other legal questions. When a source changes, the answers that depend on it are withdrawn for re-verification.

Review before publication

Before publication, every answer passes this quality check and then a review approval. An answer that fails stays unpublished.

Limits

These answers are general information. They do not replace legal, tax or fiduciary advice for your situation, especially for edge cases and cantonal rules.
